- Towards the beginning of the year 2007, Mr. Israni’s visionary senses started tingling again. He saw yet another dream. And this brought up yet another venture from the house of Israni’s. This time, Mr. Israni accepted the role of a producer, and made a regional movie that took the country by storm! “SHRIMAAN DRIVERBABU” was his Bhojpuri production that outdid all expectations, and entertained audiences all over the country. Later, the film also won the best Bhojpuri film award for the year 2007. Towards the beginning of the year 2008, Mr. Israni’s vision and sixth sense worked again. He saw yet another dream. And this brought up yet another venture from the house of Israni’s. This time, Mr. Israni played the role of a Film Director, and made a regional movie “CHINGI” that is his Marathi production based on female foeticide. This movie is produced by Anita Israni and has been released on 20th March, 2009.
